[Ottawa] Kids Acting in Commercials!

Auditioning for commercials is completely different from TV and Film. With only a script and a few minutes to show off your talent, it can be terrible to feel unprepared.

In our Acting in Commercials we demystify commercial acting, specially tailored for kids, and help them get prepared. Discover how to stand-out on camera, techniques for your confidence, and improvisation techniques for all those SOC roles! They’re the hardest!!

We’ve designed an 5-week program to instruct young actors how to tell the difference between a hard sell and a soft sell commercial performance, how to play emotions realistically and positively to sell products, how to talk directly to the camera and be a host of the product on-camera as well as audition techniques for commercials. Class 5 will deliver to all students a pro shot audition!

Upon the completion of this course, each student will also have the opportunity to record in our studio and perform in a real commercial. Through partnerships with our studio, brands are looking for collaborators to provide a fresh take on their products. We provide a copy of the commercial footage which can be used in a demo reel and on their resume!
