What a wonderful weekend and I am blessed. Fate so

What a wonderful weekend and I am blessed. Fate so has it, that almost 23 years later, I get to spend some time with one of my respective heroes. That man’s name is Guy Sprung. When I was just 21 years old, at Concordia University, my teachers would speak of and assign us to the works of Guy Sprung. Cut to this weekend, I was now sitting with him during brunch, discussing our wonderful craft of acting. The challenges we face as artists and actors. He then made me tear as I parted with him when he asked me: before you go, would you mind I sit in your class tomorrow. I teared. Guy is here shooting a large principal role, and he still wanted to take the time to come and meet my students. I teared. I am so honoured. Guy is rebel theatre. He is one of my idols. He is a pillar in our Canadian Theatre, a force to reckon with in screen acting, one of the best this country has to offer. He is powerful and humble…and having his presence this weekend - well, I am very very grateful. Thanks to @tbtmanagement Josh Kimmel for setting it up. Both gone too soon. Although I only met Shawn Robe

Both gone too soon. Although I only met Shawn Roberts once, it was clear he was all heart and a vibrant staple in the community of my home town Montreal.

Ron Leach, casted together in my Ontario life, and he was a beautiful man, fun, smart, so kind… always so kind. He was and will always be a pillar to the community.

Thankfully, with both, I have bright memories that will remain with me. We will miss you both. Rest In Peace.

Condolences to their family, and friends.
