“Making a Commercial with your Kids” is our most popular event for our youth students! SAA partners with a local small business to produce a promo video/commercial that will appear on social media platforms! And our youth students are the stars in them!
Students will not only act in them, but they will also learn the breakdown of film production. Students will start off by conceptualizing the script and then:
creatively discover the dialog, slogan, and product hashtag alongside a first draft of the script
work progressively to design a storyboard
Discover and finalize locations
Discuss and itemize the perfect wardrobe, hair, and makeup
Discuss and strategize set design: budget for props & set pieces
Discuss special effects and graphics!
Script table read and rehearsal
and finally: light, camera, and action!
